  A good place to stay, if you want some touch of local culture, it’s an Indiana trade post. room is clean and spacious, and close to Grand Canyon. Restaurant here is good, with Indiana decoration everywhere. Service is class A. You can find good souvenirs in their shop, worth the stay.

  A large selection of souvenirs and "Native American" goods. There is a lady weaving blankets, rigs, etc on-site which is fascinating. However, I was disappointed by the number of items here that looked native made but we're actually from China, Mexico, South America, etc. It keeps the prices low and you can definitely find some cool stuff, but if you are looking for genuine Navajo items, you might have better luck at a different location. That said, they have nice facilities, a small convenience store, and a decent dining room with restaurant that makes for a nice rest stop in an otherwise fairly deserted stretch of highway in northern AZ.
